  1. I have f90bt with att Tilt. Mine would pair, could dial out- would not ring, and volume was WAY LOUD. I tried changing the bt version on avic- no change. Tried several different roms on tilt- no change. I finally put trial of Jetware on tilt yesterday. So far, it seems to ring everytime and I can turn the call volume down to tolerable. My only issue is now the red end call icon doesn't show up. Getting closer.
  2. I've had mine installed for about a week. I've noticed mine will reboot if I leave the usb flash hooked up on restart. (16gb kingston). In other words, if I wait until the system is fully booted , then hookup flash drive, all is good. If I hookup before fully booted it messes up. I think the size of the flash drive may have something to do with this, pioneers website says the f90bt only supports usb to 2gb IIRC. Also my music sometimes restarts where I left off on the usb, but usually it starts off on Cake ,which is not at the beginning or end of the drive. It would be nice to be able to leav
  3. theE40punisher, I've received my f90bt, waiting on adapters, speakers and amp. I went with a Profile ap740 (4 channel) and 4 reference component 6020cs. I'll add a mono block and sub later. I've already moved the mute wire in the plug. I think I'll install the headunit and run rca's behind back seat for amp and then pay for amp and speaker install. I want to add headrest monitors at some point and will run component video cable with preamps. My question is how do I get audio to the monitors? I didn't see any plug for this on the back of the unit. I guess since the f90bt is not dual zone most p
  4. Thanks a lot. I think I'm going to order all my stuff today. I'm thinking about doing everything at once, f90bt,5 channel amp, sub, component speakers in front, coax in back, maybe even headrest monitors. I'll let you know how it turns out. Tom
  5. I wasn't clear in my earlier post, I will be adding an amp and speakers at the same time as the pioneer(no amp in truck now). Do I still need the same chime adapter, then wire preamps to amp , not connect factory speaker harness to new headunit, and just run new speaker wires from new amp? Tom
  6. e40, I have kind of a dumb question, but I haven't put in a car stereo in 30 years. I am looking at putting a f90bt in a 2006 silverado without bose and without onstar. I do have steering wheel controls. I know I need the pac swi-ps for steering wheel control. I also need the pac cr2-gm24 for factory chimes. My dumb question is this, Do I wire in the 2 harnesses , plug in the f90 to the cr2 not connect speaker outs , run the pre-amps to amp, then from amp to speakers? Tom
