found an installer who has disk and was willing to install update even when he did not install unit. only problem so far is that the update wiped out my bluetooth connectionto my Treo 650. had to re-establish conttection,but keeps losing and will not reconnect after two days. Tried to re-establish and still no luck. had no problem with Z1 software in reference to conntection to phone

All local dealers within 200 miles do not have or will not order disc for anybody as per maufactures request

just spent 3 hours battleing with customer support(Joke). they stated the disc is unavailable to public and must be installed thru dealer that installed unit. did I mention I've been a mcertified master tech for 29 years. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHERE I CAN PURCHASE THIS UPGRADE DISC?

Year 2003 Make Chevy Conversion van Model 1500 AWD Yes it totally shuts down then reboots as if key was turned off then on again. i have the chime relay installed so everything works as if it where a factory radio. had a Avic N2 installed before with out any problem till the screen crapped out.

[/b] while driving to Florida from NY my newly installed Avic-z1 kept rebooting. i installed the system myself (18 Years as an auto electronics installer) i have double checked and isolated all connections, all OK. is this problem a programming or hardware problem? Version 1.00 software on a unit made after June of 06. HELLLP
