Local shop that specializes in pioneer double dins wants 200 to uninstall my old headunit and install my F90 wit ipod wire. This includes bypass. They dont hook up the vss though. I dont even want them to bypass it i heard it voids warranty i might just do the software one. What did those of you that didnt install it yourself pay?

If you're asking "can I just plug it in to my car with no work?" the answer is no, in the US you need to wire an adapter to the Pioneer side to make them fit. The EU does use a standard car-side connector. Does it come with something that shows me how to do it?

I havent recieved my F90 yet i dunno excactly what the splash screen is. Do you just see this while the system is loading? Also any civic si logos?

If im just hooking this thing up all i have to do is plug in my harness right? Im not doing the wire bypass.

I just did it! Wit the updates it's a great unit. If you wait for the new one more than likely there will be bugs you will have to wait to fix. Is there even a new one colin out soon?

can someone please atleast tell me if F900 or F90 is better the site im using has f900 for 600 and F90 for 680. I found the f90 on 6ave for 600 as well but only for 3 more hours then its back up to 1100 on there. Please!!

Hi i just ordered a F900BT for my 03 civic si. I was wondering whats the differnece betwen this and the F90? Also is there any DIY threads on how to bypass these and make backgrounds? I didnt see any. THanks a lot ALso what is this splash thing i keep seeing is that just code for backgroud?
