I did this the other day with my HD1BT, I assume it is the same method Soft reset using the reset hole and stylus provided then once booted, turn your engine off until unit is off and unpowered then hold the reset in again turn engine on, and when its booting up, hold down the map key it will then ask you whether you want to load factory defaults this will wipe all settings including the phone (Which is why i did it )

Hi all, New poster here although I've been looking around for a few days. I got the AVIC-HD1BT which I think is the UK equivelent to your Z1's. I got it fitted by a Pioneer dealership on Saturday and am very happy with it. The only downside is and this is only after having looked at some of your installs (the porsche one to be exact) and noticed how flush the installs were. The car it is fitted to is a Volvo S60 2005 model and the unit sticks out. Is this due to the cage Pioneer issue with the S60 kit? It must stick out about 1-2 inches atleast. Please see picture attached. T
