  1. Many thanks. Looks like I can do the install of the HU myself and get the XM ant mounted by Tweeter and then I am done. Cool. Thanks for your help. I see you're in Oakland. Are you a member of the Raider Nation?
  2. But I have one question. I have seen in various places on this forum that the parking brake and bypass wire have to be grounded to separate locations. Based on this example, it looks like all the grounds can be bundled together? Bonus question(s): Is the VSS wire required (2003 Nissan Altima V6) for the GPS to function properly? What about the reverse light wire? Thanks
  3. OK, does anyone know the story on this device: http://cgi.ebay.com/PIONEER-AVIC-Z1-BYP ... dZViewItem Is it better then the parking brake ground trick or would I be wasting my money? Thanks.
  4. D@mn. Thanks for the information, I was hoping I could use the Pink speed signal wire on the radio harness.
  5. Hi, I have a 2003 Altima WITHOUT the Bose system. I'm looking to put a D2 in with the TraficNav. How difficult is it to get to the speed sensor wire and the reverse light wire? I want to do the bypass so I can use all the features of the D2 while in motion. I can ground the parking brake wire and add the additional wire to the harness and ground that in order to do the bypass. So if I can get to the VSS wire and reverse wire with no issue, I can save the $275 the local Tweeter is looking to charge for the install. Thanks in advance for your help.
