I got it working! Thanks guys! It was a bad 2GB SD Card... Went out and bought a new one and it worked perfectly!

Ive already done that! I have the 3.0 software installed already on my F700... Working FLAWLESSLY

I thought I could use the Update for the x710bt from Pioneers website on my F700bt... Is that not the case??????????? I thought thats what everyone was doing who upgraded their F700/F90/F900 to 3.0 with the software from the new X series... Can someone please point me in the right direction? Now I am totally confused!

When I go to install the 3.01 update from Pioneers website onto my AVIC, I get about 52% done and then the WHITE update screen FLASHES and turns RED and says UPDATE FAILED, FILE COPY ERROR... Now I have tried the update on 2 NEW different SD Cards and I still cannot get it to work... What could I be doing wrong? Am I not copying it from my Computer to the SD card the right way? Any help on this is greatly appreciated! I am still having the Rear Speaker Issue from my other post, so if anyone knows a way to fix that, PLEASE also let me know! Thanks! Jonathan

I have an 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Boston Acoustics Sound System and the REAR Speakers cut in and out. (On, Off, On, Off, etc..) It doesnt have anything to do with the volume as it does it at all different levels... Does ANYONE have ANY IDEA as to what could be causing this? Please let me know as I dont know how to fix it right now! Thanks a bunch! Jonathan

Where can I get the Data files for JUST THE SOFT BYPASS??? I just completed the 3.0 update on my F700bt and it works great, I just got confused on the SOFT BYPASS that was in the instructions... Can anyone point me in the right direction??? Again, Thanks to everyone who has been helping with this!

IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I FINALLY got the 3.0 to work and let me tell you! HUGE Difference in speed and performance in my opinion! THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!! One thing though, When I went to copy over the "my flash disk" after I updated WindowsCE it said that the destination drive didnt have enough space... It said some files would not be copied, however after a 30 minute drive and testing out all functions of the Unit I have found NOTHING that doesnt work or that crashes... Did I do something wrong in the copy process???? Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks guys! I will try this after work again, making sure to hit the buttons properly. Will I still see the message to "press the reset button" again on the blue screen when it comes up? Or should I just see the * when I enter the button sequence?? Thanks again!!!

Hello and thanks for everyone for all of the help! I can get to the blue screen by the "Menu Map Reset Eject" combination and when the blue screen appears I get the message "press the reset button again" If I dont press the reset button again and I enter the code, UP UP DOWN MENU LEFT RIGHT, I get to the service screen. Then I click on UPDATE CE, Insert my Memory Card and CHOOSE FROM SD/MMC Card and the screen goes black... Sometimes if I enter the code too slowly it goes black before I can even select UPDATE CE. Then I have to shut the car off and try it again but I am not having any luck

The unit seems to be working MUCH better than it ever did and I am very pleased with the results! ** THIS SHOULD FIX AVIC's that had issues with the 2.0 software AS WELL as AVIC's with the 2.006 Software that might have crashed after the installation. Me neither I get my "splash screen" to come up and then the screen is just blank/black... Cant do a damn thing! I dont know what else to do... I really would hate to have to send this out!

OK... so I downloaded and unzipped the testmode 2.3 and put it on my SD card and I still CANNOT get my unit to boot into testmode... There seem to be a lot of files in the new test mode 2.3 so I copied them all to my SD card... Can someone verify what files actually need to be there... If im able to get into test mode is there a way I can reload the original 2.0 software and start over... Its like the unit doesnt have an OS on it anymore and doesnt know what to do!

Hello, I just installed the 2.006 update and everything completed fine... Now when the Unit turns on I see my "Splash Screen" and then it just goes black and stays black... I created a new testmode SD card and now I cant even boot into testmode anymore. I also cannot eject the CD the is in the CD Player Does anyone know what I can do to get my F700-bt working again??? Is there a way I can completely reformat/format the drive and reinstall the original software to start over from scratch? Im not sure how to proceed with this and I am looking for anyone that can point me in the righ

I have the F-700BT and Im reading everywhere that the 3.0 Update is out... When I went on Pioneers website, it says the cost of the update is like $150 bucks! Is there anyway to download it for free like the 2.0 update? Does ANYONE have any information? My F-700 is so slow that I am hoping the 3.0 update will address some of these issues but I dont want to spend $150 bucks if it doesnt! Any info is greatly appreciated!!!
