  1. Is there an SDK for the AVIC F-SERIES? How are some of you creating custom firmware/ interfaces (more than just changing the icons/ graphics)? I am very familular with Vidual Studio, and write apps in C#, etc. I was wondering if their was some way to program in Visual Studio 2008, with some plug-in SDK, OR even an SDK period. Basically, how are you all doing it?
  2. First off I want to say, I know this may sound crazy, but I just copied a bunch of music from a friend, so I didn't have a chance to really listen to all of the song (5,000). SO, with that said.... Is there some way to delete songs off of my ipod from my AVIC system, or at least mark them (rate them like on the iPod itself) to delete them later. I have songs on my iPod that I would like to remove. Without having to sit down and listen (on my computer) to several hundred songs+ and see what I want or don't want; I could mark them for deletion right then and there in my car as I was listenin
  3. I'm glad I'm not the only one....Hopefully someone will help us get a solution to it. After all the money we paid for this thing, it should change on the first "touch".....
  4. For some reason I have been having to touch the screen multiple times in order for it to respond to what I am doing. I have tried calibrating the screen, but no luck. It is VERY frustrating when I want to go to the next song on my iPOD and have to hit next 3 times or so....Why or what would be causing this? FYI...I do have the Software/parking brake grounded hack implemented. Thanks, nwembly
  5. Don't bother with the "WHOLE" hardwire bypass, it's more work than needed. I used the software/ hardware by pass, and it worked instantly. First: Change the pioneer.ini file inside the data.zip file from 16 to 255, and then load it onto your radio. Second: The the long parking break wire that is suppose to connect into your parking break wire on your vehicle. Instead of connecting it to your vehicle parking break wire, just ground it to just about any part of metal on your car's body, or do what I did, and connect it directly to the ground coming out of your
  6. I have a NEW AVIC-F700BT which already came with the NEW 2.o firmware. I want to do the software hack, which I fully understand (I hope), and have put it on my SD card. But when I put it into my unit and then power it on to have it boot off of the SD card, to install the moded version, it does nothing. However, It is NOT the SD card, as it can read from it if I put some music files on it, it will read, see, and play them. What do I need to do inorder to make this "software hacked Version" install on my unit?, (and yes I have put the folders right at the root, and all of that...but I am ope
