  1. well, i did a soft reset again this morning and, Voila, it connected and I was able to get the code i needed to activate the account! Did that online, went back to my truck and it works like a charm! Did notice that the gas prices were not incredibly up to date, but everything works great.
  2. I"m in the same boat with the MSN function. I'm just trying to get teh activation code off of my unit, however when I press the status button to connect to get that info off of my headunit, i just get the trying to connect message. I live in a strong MSN coverage area too, so I don't know what's going on! I'd at least try to take advantage of the 3 free months!

  4. I admit i'm to blame too. Unfortunately for me, my Kenwood was stolen from my truck and I decided to try something new. My 7120, Garmin G5410 GPS and Ipod attachment were taken. I was able to replace it with the 90BT, an HD tuner and the back up camera with assist for straight across through my insurance. The unit just seems to need an owner that wants to be up to date in the programming department. Doesn't mean its a POS, just needs more love than I'd like to give it! Now I'm stuck with it and I'm gonna do my best to make it work the way I want it to. And with some of your guys'
  5. yeah, that absolutely SUCKS!! my iPod works perfectly fine, albeit it is one of the first 60G iPods that came out! Just spent $$ to buy the 90BT and now I've got to spend more $$ for an iPod to make the functions work!! Oh well, I just decided to use the front jack for right now. Still, very dissapointing!
  6. do what above poster mentioned or make sure the parking brake is set when you are trying to access the functions you are talking about! If you haven't done the software or hardware mod, virtually nothing can be changed or set up until the brake is fully set! I went through the same thing vic
  7. well, i've had my 90 for a week now and I'm pretty dissapointed. I had a Kenwood 7017 with a G510 and the Garmin Nav was soo much better. Boot up time is absolutely ridiculous! I just wanted to try something different. The Pioneer does shine on the screen quality and overall sound quality. If the shop would let me, I would rather have the Kenwood 8120
  8. got it thanks! that really sucks. it worked perfectly with my kenwood unit. pretty disappointing. now i have to buy another iPod!
  9. just installed my 90BT yesterday and when i hook up my iPod, it tells me that it is not compatible. it is version 1.2.1. Granted, it is one of the origianl 60G iPods, but i've never had a problem with it. When I hook up my iPhone to it, the system recognizes it just fine, and i can play all music and videos Any suggestions?
  10. hmm, i'll take it back to where i bought it. I just had it installed yesterday! i'll see what they have to say thanks again vic
  11. no, my phone doesn't see the unit either! i have a jawbone that i use also, and i've unpaired it and then turned it back on, and the iPhone sees that right away.
  12. i've turned my phone off and then back on, turned the bluetooth function off and then back on, but the BT90 never sees my phone? Any ideas? thanks in advance Vic
