  1. SUCCESS! I did two things before testing again. Hard reset (Reset + Menu +Map+ Eject) and deleted the GPS files IN ORDER Not sure which of the two fixed the issue but after two short 10 minute drives and no restart it seems the issue is resolved. Weee!
  2. I guess its more of a hardware question, but some tie in with the bypass does at least make logical sense - the unit is both hardware bypassed and software bypassed (via cmh's mod) - though the issue occurred even before the soft bypass was added via the mod. Is it possible the bypass was somehow botched causing the unit to reboot when it hits the restricted speed v. Well... Bypassing? What I've tried so far: Deleting the gpspara3.bin, gpspara2.bin, gpspara1.bin, and gpspara0.bin files. The files are instantly recre
  4. Installed and loving it! Now to start playing with some of the hacks, as a techie at heart this is where I actually get to have fun
  5. Awesome news - I appreciate the reply.
  6. Hey there, new here and looking at getting a AVIC-F900BT. I just wondered if anyone had installed on on a 2005 Scion TC and whether the cover was still closeable. The ultimate treat would be a picture of the installed unit, but I know I might be pressing my luck there
