  1. I figured out that the illumination wire doesn't need to be hooked up and the neither does the antenna. The reverse wire clamp can be purchased at any electronics store for dirt cheap and the VSS wire is black and white and can be found on the head unit wiring harness.
  2. you might be running two xovers at the same time. try turning off the crossovers from the unit.
  3. If you were to reset an avic n2 and you didn't have disks of any kind, would you loose all functions or would everything work except the navigation.
  4. Help please. I have an avic N2 and it pops when I'm switching radio stations also reception sucks. I installed it in my 95 m3. Any advice would be great. Thanks..
  5. I just installed the N2 in my 95 BMW M3 including the vss wire, so, email me if you need help. I also installed a used alpine pdx 4.150 and am in the process of making my own 8" stealth boxes...

Lastly, does anyone know where to purchase those clamp connectors for wires, like the reverse lamp lead? It would also be great to know where the vsss wire is on my 95 bmw m3, but, I’m not expecting anyone to have that info. Any help would be appreciated

Anyway, I just purchased an AVIC N2 from a forum member and need some help or advice. I also should probably mention that I have an alpine PDX 4 channel amp running everything. Here are my questions: 1. To do the bypass, do you have to open up the head unit to remove the plastic guard that looks like it blocks the bypass? 2. Since the Clarion had a brain under the seat, will the wiring be sim
