No,just put blank in. Thanks for the heads up,didn't realize had to have data on card before it would show up.

New unit installed 2 days ago, just tried SD card slot, used a Kodak 4 GIG card,did not show up, found post saying all brands don't work went and got a Kingston 2 Gig which someone posted works,still did not show up,when I pulled both cards and looked at contents on card it shows a device.nng file and gpslog folder.
