is there a site that has different 3d models of cars. I have a pickup truck and am using the 3D jeep as my arrow. i would really like a pickup truck for my 3D model. Please help. thanks

thanks abb1 i wasn't sure if it was simply just changing the nav 800 480 file and adding the bmp. works great just had to adjust the icon placement and runs flawlessly.

Do you mean the one that is included in Diaftias mod in the NAV section to call home? If it is, which NAV mod do you now have? This is really easy to do. I don't want to explain it to you because I don't want you to mess your mod up with the coding, and I have to know which mod it is for as the location will be different

yes, I am using cmh928's mod with the old interface. I can change the coding myself to locate it on the screen. I just need the right direction and then i can reverse engineer it. i hope. Thanks

Quick question. I finally found the 3d car that i wanted but i am not sure how to install it. Do I just add the bmp files to the gfx folder and add the lines into sys.txt and thats it? Please advise.

Just use the telephone book app and insert the file manually. It works the best and will allow you to completely format them to look perfect. Most phones don't transfer 100% smooth. I transfered mine, it didn't look right so I just edited them and re loaded it manually from testmode.

Wow ... I didn't realize this was a common issue.

 

I replaced the iPod cable with another Pioneer one and it corrected the problem for me.

I've often wondered if the cable was also at fault for the Pioneer unit dropping the iPod.

It has been much better for that since the replacement, but it does still drop it occassionally.

 

I am now going in search of Apple cables to see if this will help.

i just noticed that my right speaker with the ipod is a lot lower, i am going to try buying the apple one.

i just got the storm 2 and it transferred my contacts with last name, first name and before my LG phone transferred my contacts first name, last name. When i view contacts on my new phone they show first name, last name, so is there a setting or something i can do to have it transfer first name first. Thanks

I am using a version of CMH's 3.01 mod and i cant input a speed when i add speedcams. Is there something I need to add to my ui files to get this to work? I remember reading that this was fixed in people's data files and was hoping someone could just let me know what lines i would need to add.

afaik, bluetooth is completely seperate from the rest of the unit. it even has its own special place in the BIOS to flash it, seperate from the WinCE image. Try re-downloading the bluetooth update and reapplying it to the unit.

Restore the backup to whatever the last update you made was. I had this issue one time during a BT update from Pioneer and I simply reapplied the update. Its on Pioneer's web page.

Sorry, bad explanation on the other posting.

In other words: If i wait two minutes before driving and entering the map screen, the trip computer works. If i start the car and leave immediately, the trip computer won't work.

i tested that out and it seems to work most of the time when you wait til the navi is completely booted up and the map screen is done. And 1300 is a lot for this thing, i got it for a really cheap price of 450 from amazon a while ago. Anyway I hope someone comes up with a code to fix that. the trip computer is still the best mod around.
