just to second it, I e-mail pioneer and asked them. They said yes it will work. I installed mine last night, works fine.

I installed mine inside my dashboard on the supplied metal plate. Works fine.

I have noticed that my voice command only access in specific screens. If I'm on the menu screen, I cannot activate voice command. If I'm on the map or on the active AV source screen, the voice command works. I wonder if this is by design or chance?
