  1. thx to everyone who helped getting this one to work. Just installed it on my 700 today, and works sweet.
  2. I do have exactly the same issue. Happens with SD card, MP3-CD and radio stations. Any idea, how to fix it?? Tom
  3. if you have an old unit running fw2.0 then you need to search here for ezrider hacked. After you loaded that you can install all maps you need. quite simple. dont go to fw 3.0 now, as there is no hacked ezrider yet. hope this helps. tom
  4. Pretty cool, can't wait to get the data.zip to load it. Thanks idt for your work!
  5. I have a F700BT from the US using it in Germany. I upgraded to Fw 3.0, WinCe and igo 8.3 with the US software and downloads. Since then, of course I no longer had navigation working, until the hacked ezrider becomes available. I was fully aware of this.... now waiting for the new ezrider to appear. I tried several times to load the EU image on my box with no success at all. Before while running on Fw 2.0 I used all the US applications with ezrider hacked, latest european maps and german voice guidance.
  6. After going to 3.0, all my controls stopped working. No clue why...
  7. You're right, I forgot to mention this, to not have RDS and TMC is really a PITA.
  8. I have a US F700BT in Germany. The unit is working for sure, but with the frequency limitation. I do not need radio function that much, so not a big deal for me. Tom
  9. Thanks a lot.... I will try it, and hopefully my problems with getting all my LPG ovi converted from Tomtom to the Avic. Tom
  10. Any chance you can post the "nice prog."?? I would like to get my Tomtom OV2 files to the F700BT as well.

  12. Jep, mine as well. Played a lot of MP3 from SD so far.
  13. That's why I am using 8GB on SDHC, I read the manual as well. But to be honest I'm not happy with the load time, takes forever to start playing when SD was last selected when I get in the car. The MP3-CD is way faster. Not sure about the USB port, but I don't expect anything faster.... Tom
  14. Not exactly... I bought mine some weeks ago while I was in LA. Circuit City had good deals at that time, since they are closing all stores. So back in Germany, the Avic traveling in my luggage, I paid nothing - no VAT no nothing. Great deal!! At least you have to add 19% VAT on the invoice amount (incl. freight) and then I would calculate with approx. 7.5% for Zoll. You might find the correct tariff by checking the zoll.de website. But, it might be even more difficult to find a dealer, who is willing to ship to Germany.... Good luck! Tom
  15. That's what I understand from paQ, he seems to be from Europe as well... Actually it is not completly right in regards to legal laws, but instead of using the US maps I use the Euro maps, so what is the big deal?! Yeah, it's not 100% safe, but what the h.... You can leave your Pioneer in the car. Copy the new maps to your SD card. Bring your device into testmode and then copy the maps onto the internal storage. If you have the correct versions, the Pioneer app recognize the new map after reboot.
