Great!! My 3th question was about the off screen with time and date with ds-digi.ttf font. Actually it's white/light gray color...but if you add a really power off screen in your next mod (like said in the 2nd answer) is much better!!

- What happened with IDT's fuel calc? you don't want any more? I liked

- What about turn off the screen (totally, no black screen!) by pressing the off button on the map, instead of displaying the time and date. And for the current state, how I can change the font color to red, just to match with the interior of my car

I was wondering how to edit some bmp with special feautres like: the time on map, altitude on map, and speed on map, it's translucent, and when I convert it with iPAQ 31x to RGB or aRGB or PNG to edit with PS, lost its features.

How I can edit these files?

I'm at work right now, but later I'll comment work I'm doing.

PS: I made myself a few minutes, I'm changing some things, some of them just to suit my taste, and others could serve many others.

I live in Argentina, and here we have the same signs and units that in the UK, so I'm changing the files to make it compatible with South America, also Spain (all latin languages), overwriting the UK files.

This includes:

- a new Spanish Language file, including all your terms added, and improved the originals.

- Speed Cam Audio in Spanish, male and female with loquendo voices (in process)

- Icons in Spanish (Speed, Altitude) trying!

- I made a new sheme, adapted here, where the mountains are shown in brown and not white like "snow".

- I edit mapchanger_800_480 to switch between 2 versions of teleatlas maps (older and newer), because in my region we have only teleatlas maps, and for some places newer maps are worst than older, so I decide to preserve the 2 version putting older version in map-nt and newer in map as default.

And other things about my "almost" apple red theme downloaded here about 1 year ago, I don't think anyone be interested.

So if you want to add this to your mod, and you're a meticulous man to do so, we are all grateful.

You could add a new "Country" (or region be better) as "LATIN AMERICA" in addition to US, UK, FRA, CAN, Quebec. This I couldn't, because I don't know about script programming.

So no. 1 is, here in Argentina we have road sign similar to UK, so how can I change the speed limit US for the UK version?? I tried to use EU version of your data.zip, but still having the US road sign (I guess that this is configurated in another file than your data.zip).

 

in your navigatemap_800_480.ui you'll see a section for speed limit sign, just comment out the US one and uncomment the UK one

ok, how can I do this?? i deleted the 4 files above the US speed limit part, and I left the uk one...but, are you sure?? there isn't another file where is this config?? or its responses to de sys.txt first sentence "[device] type="PIONEER746UC or EW"??

bad news guys, for some reason my unit just stopped working this afternoon, i brought it to the store i bought it from to find out that the warranty was only til october, my wife just got laid off from her work and i'm not planning on buying a unit as the budget is kinda tight right now, hopefully i'll have another unit next year once she finishes her schooling and gets a job, i won't online as often as before as i think i'm going to focus on looking for a second job, regarding bug fixes and request the only thing i can do is to look at the code and test it on the emulator,

really bad news!!

it's not because of the unit being from US but a problem with the map data

 

Actually, map data is correct (otherwise you'd be driving head-on into oncoming traffic). It is some weird behaviour (or bug) with the 3.0's EZRider itself.

Hi IDT, I've too many questions, but I preferred once a time (or twice..jeje)

First, I've an F900bt US/Canada version, but I live in Argentina, so here we've European customs, rather than their American. (remember this for future questions)

I've 3.010100 firmware, No warning message by Cravier, Image.res by abb1, and of course your data.zip posted here with images of supermans red theme (data.zip/iu_pioneer/800_400/746_32K_MN-XXX_XXX.bmp).

And here I stop for comment something. I tested my US unit with EU data.zip to try TMC and RDS, but nothing happened, except that the bluetooth didn't work. What can be wrong? EU unit have special hardware for RDS and TMC? What about the bluetooth?? I've posted some of this in page 91 - 93 of your last IDT 3.0 Final version post.

Ok, so no. 2 now. When you drive without route, you see among other information, the signal of turning restriction. But in my case, I see the opposite sign, Ex. if the next corner is to the left, the road sign shows that I can't turn to the left. I guess this happens because the configuration of the unit is for US. As shown in the pic, is not a problem on the map.

Another thing, IDT...how can I make the unit completely off the screen (as when we do it from the menu CONFIGURATION -> SISTEM SETUP) when i press the screen off button of your navigation mod (which shows the time)???

No, I'm using the simple one, since the US unit doesn't have TMC.

Yes, but I enabled all of the TMC stuff on my US version and my MSN traffic works just fine!

I just replaced the TMC icon with the one that was for the screen off (same location) and enabled the alpha dimming so it works in conjunction with the rest and all is well!

Jimmy, if you want to give it a try, I have a copy of a virgin factory 2.0 flash drive from the 700 series online that I can give you access to. I also have the files for the speed / redlight camera option enabled. If you want to try copying my files across.
