  1. I just bypassed my AVH-P8400BH as well. I was disappointed to see the normal relay did not work. However using a TR7 interface works perfectly. Don't need to mess around with programming or anything. Works quite well out of the box and is readily available at almost all car audio shops. No need to wait for shipping on a new unit from microbypass if you go this route.
  2. I just got mine installed as well. A huge upgrade from the AVIC 90bt
  3. I tried all the various options and am still unable to get my desired result. Anyone else have an idea?
  4. No I have not, don't know what/where that is.
  5. Figures, I turned that down because the NAV voice and beeps were so dang loud. * Wonders what I should live with...
  6. Hey, I have a F90BT with my iPod hooked upto it. It seems like my DVD audio is quite a bit lower then my iPod/FM stereo audio. It's not a huge deal because I can turn it up and make it easily heard but when I turn it up I start to hear background noise/hissing and it irritates the crap out of me. iPod/FM i keep the volume to about 20/25 and it sounds fine, but for DVD I need to double it (40/45) to make it match the same output of my iPod/FM. Any idea what causes this and/or know a fix?
  7. I already got my system, i did dumped the file system but that is as far as I have gotten right now. I am still doing some of the standard hacks.
  8. Outstanding, as soon as I get it I will do a rom dump and start up IDA. * Can't wait!
  9. Does anyone know what type of CPU the F series uses? If it is ARM or x86 I plan on pulling it apart. Reverse engineering is a hobby of mine and this sort of thing will be easy to find (the proper code) Mine gets in tommorow so hopefully I can start breaking it soon.
