I installed a Z2 in my 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. How necessary is the VSS wire? The unit is working fine without it. I tried to find it but it is not listed on the Directechs sheet. Any ideas? Thanks!

I have an AVIC D1 and just bought a Z2. I did the 2 wire ground on the D1. Will the same power harness work? Thanks!
