My car was wrecked. I took out my f500 with all the wiring for the amp....but forgot the cradle in the car. the cradle is 100 bucks to order again. thats crazy!!!! i only paid 250 for the unit with the amp. QUESTION: Is there a way to wire the amp directly to the back of the unit. i notice that there are screws in the back of the unit...where the cradle metal piece meets the unit for contact.

So if i applied the brake speed setting to 1024.0 it should fix the reboot prob. right?

I've tried doing the software bypass so many times on your data.zip. I tried changing the value from 128 to 255...my unit turns on and off while driving at highway speeds. regular driving is fine. I reinstalled the orginal factory flash disk....did the software bypass...it works with no glitch. I love your data zip and want to use it. Can u figure out whats wrong.

I READ ABOUT THIS ON AOL. IT WAS A ARTICLE ON A NEW DATABASE FOR A GPS. IT HAS DUI CHECKPOINTS, SPEED CAMERA, HIGH PATROL POSITIONS, ETC. Don't windows CE have internet connectivity in control panel. Or whatever its called. Im at work right now....so later imma go home and see what i can do with it. Does anyone know if windows CE is missing a certain type of driver. Anyone.....?

WHAT IF I DOWNLOAD INTERNET EXPLORER V1.1 OR SIMILAR VERSION ON MY F 500 THEN CONNECT MY PHONE IT TO THE INTERNET BY USING BLUETOOTH OR USB. ANYONE CAN THINK OF A WAY TO MAKE THIS WORK. I FIGURE IF I I BOOT INTO TESTMODE. DOWNLAND IE TO THE UNIT. IS THERE AWAY HAVE INTERNET ACCESS VIA A CELLHONE CONNECTED WITH A USB OR BLUETOOTH ENABLE. I CURRRENTLY HAVE THE HTC WING WHICH I CONNECT TO MY LABTOP. I GET INTERNET ACCESS THAT WAY WHEN IM OUT THE HOUSE.

what about the steering wheel controls for volume. DO you think that the wires from the steering wheel controls can be connected to the bt 500/amp. without using that PAC module of whatever its called.

Newbie here....I've figured out how to put the modz on my unit. But what im having trouble is MATTs data zip. Matt i love your data.zip. but im tryn to do the software mod for the parking_break_speed. I change it both to 128 and 256....and when i restart my 500bt, the loading..please wait(something like that...having a mental lapse) but it doesnt go away. Also can a icon be put on the navigation map for bluetooth dial pad and/or contacts. Im learning this coding thing slowly but surely.

I have a WD 250gb external drive. the usb connects directly to the usb port on the 500bt. the light on the HD comes on, but the option on the unit is not available for selection. This is the same port that charges/power a ipod!!! Anyone nows why?

IS THERE A WAY TO USE A EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE ON THE F SERIES. THINKING OF USING MY 250GB HD. I CHECK THROUGH THIS SITE AND READ PEOPLE SAYN THERE IS A LIMIT. CAN THIS LIMIT BE MODDED.

Cortelyou Auto Glass......Don't get fooled by the name. these guys do everything except mechanical. They did wonders on my f500 bt....clean install. I go to them all the time and always satisfied. The are on Coney Island Ave, and cortelyou in brooklyn. Alot of people go to these guy...just pass by and you'll see a whole lot of cars waiting. waiting isnt bad though. if they are backup they will let you know.
