this can easyly be an app like "appradio app"....
in fact with mike decaro, this exists already....

to focus on this "new" product....i don't think android and google, will stay looking on it...so there is some nice updates the following years...
personnaly, i don't see it as a great inovation....it's almost awfull interface....

When mercedes launch new a_class...they launched a app, that must still exist , you can connect iphone on mercedes screen board...
honda too...
i think more on a user adapter phone interface......this carplay is just for "show"

seems it works again...i've changed my connecting process, focusing first on connecting appradio app function , and after Bluetooth telephone....whereas appradio app info says the contrary...???

you can see on the video...it reach almost to connect...and appradio app disconnect....

sincerly, i was thinking about updating, but....if no reel improvement .... can anybody confirm ?

So 2 things, maybe i'm completly a noob
or...when i got back home with the car, my phone began to connect to my home wifi...and i think the s3 have some difficult to manage bluetooth , personal home wifi, direct wifi, at the same time...so with one process less....the appradio app seems to start normaly, as far as my wifi home

so to resume , it's like normal connection with allshare cast dongle, and appradio app turn blue to grey out and disconnected at 75% connection level

I could keep on the first topic but i would like to pay attention to some of you , wanting to upgrade your S3 or maybe other models to android 4.3...

Since i've updated my S3, to 4.3... i can't connect normally to my sph-da100

i connect my smartphone to allshare cast dongle....it's ok
i connect the Bluetooth for handsfree...it's ok
 

BUT !!! when i launch appradio app...

it try to connect....reach 75% and disconnect me....

On Google play store, one guy, using the normal connection ( mhl hdmi cable ? ) seems to have the same problems since, 4.3 update...
So what to think....

Is it only due to "appradio app" itself, not well configured for 4.3 ?

At home i have the galaxy note 2 in 4.1.2 android os and my S3 (4g...on last update 4.3...)
both works on my tv with allshare cast dongle..

both works with my mhl/hdmi cable adapter too on my tv ( i don't have the right mhl female hdmi connector to try to my appradio...and the originial Samsung connector i've bought for S3....don't work....maybe broken or maybe Samsung seems to have change something to....)


It's like Bluetooth connection is modified since 4.3...and appradio app can't follow....
have anybody any ideas ?





 

tex... i've read one guy informin that with nexus 5 and slim port, he have "network" issues.....
so, not sur 4.4...resolve all...

having some doubts...i finally jump on the S3 "4G"....work great till i've updated from android 4.1.2...to 4.3....
so i'm "wrecked" of that stupid updated that made me thought it will improve some features...and not giving me less...

DON T UPGRADE TO 4.3 because you can do only "screen mirroring" without appradio "app" standard interface....it disconnect afer 75% succes....
i'm quiet surprise to the galaxy S3 ... but 4.3 os.....great but not for that...unless someone knows ???

i'm thinking of managing allshare cast when i'm in use, and buy the nexus 5 with slimport hdmi micro usb connector when my wife use it....

for exemple, the samsung galaxy S3 alone, in france, cost 250 euros...new with 2 years warranty...
i found the nexus 5  for 270 brand new but from "return" shop service with warranty too of course...
the slimport cost 10 euros....

so a nexus 5 compare to S3....wich deal is the best ? ( or another model )

i've jumped from appradio DA01 to DA100...no regrets great screen, sound, etc....

i'm in dilema....
i definitly left apple for android...

Looking on youtube , i saw that with allshare cast, we can make a "wireless" screen mirroring with some samsung products as my galaxy note 2 i'm using from my company....
work really correct in my car ...for wireless system !!!

i didn't want to use physical connection because of my last issue with appradio 1 connector wich is terrible to manage ...
the connector got almost broken....( twisted and so....for 2 years connecting and disconnecting.....)
so you can understand why i'm on this "wireless" strategy....

So everything ok....but...my wife use the car everyday and don't have any smartphone.
i'v bought a wiko stayrway....good cheap iphone, with correct design and perfomances.

but the wiko stayrway don't manage bluetooth and screen mirroring  ( wifi ) both....
i'got message, "bluetooth will shutdown if wireless on"....and so...

anyway i've tryed the screen mirroring fonction from the wiko, it display me smaller size on the big appradio screen....
so i 've sold it....

So now the situation is that i have an allshare cast dongle wich work good with my galaxy note 2.
normaly, i can buy a samsung S3 and S4 for my wife...but she don't like the samsung design......

so before suicide , i got an idea, to buy the new nexus 5 wich cost "normal" price as new compare to second hand prices for galaxy S3 or even S4...wich is "untouchable" for me

looking for nexus 5....i've discovered differences between US nexus 5 and EU nexus 5 ( 4G network signal, not the same...between nexus 5 D820...and nexus 5 D821....)

In some forums they say the new nexus 5 can't work with allshare cast, wich is "samsung familly product"...
so if i expect to buy the nexus 5....there is good chances that all share cast won't work....

anyway i told myself, whatever, i'll buy an mhl / hdmi port..... no way... seems it's "slimport".... another technology....
so i don't know if nexus 5 will work....

Resigned to buy a S3 or S4.... do you think there is a chance to use the nexus 5 in appradio ?
or is there another model with "normal" price and not samsung design ?

i've finally bought the DA100....and no regrets but when you have 2 phones....me and my wife....it's problem

on that point...you're right... :/ 
know i don't know....
because as i said, average price low is 200 euros for da100...plus cables, plus arliberator...it goes easyly arround 290 euros....
da110 is maybe complete without rooting etc, for 329 euros....

 

DP....i'm not really agree with you....as i see on youtube, arliberator with allsharcast or mhl hdmi connector provide good aspect on mirroring android from the smartphone to the appradio .... i'm wrong ?

Maybe "simple" question, but i expect to buy a 2nd hand appradio DA100...but prices in the private adds, are almost the same as the new DA110 (appradio 3....)
lowest averrage prices for appradio 2 (DA100) are between 200 and 250 euros...
the new DA110 is 330 euros....

i know that DA110 have the streaming audio over bluetooth...it's the only main think for the DA110 i find nice....the other (buggy functions as saw another post on DA110 in avic411 ) are the same....so ?

i've sent my youtube video to igo customer service too...but no answer....hope they will look that, because nothing tells to not use the ipod with igo and appradio igo app....and off course, better not ask pioneer....unless i had bad chances with them....

anyway that's really not cool...( my connecting wire got almost broken using it all the time....i've gave it a second life letting it in one position with scotch tape and the cablejive dockextender;;..more easy to use to connect apple device...)

it's "funny" to see pioneer sph-da100 owners that claim to exchange their device in fb appradio fanpage france by the new one, because of bugs...

"no android project...." so funny to see that android almost save the appradio with ar liberator etc...now

seems that's more easy to built a lot of unfinished devices than one quite correct device....
