it should be an app in android phones, that can be launch like appradio app...

apple is not stupid...i hope.... this can easyly be an app like "appradio app".... in fact with mike decaro, this exists already.... to focus on this "new" product....i don't think android and google, will stay looking on it...so there is some nice updates the following years... personnaly, i don't see it as a great inovation....it's almost awfull interface.... When mercedes launch new a_class...they launched a app, that must still exist , you can connect iphone on mercedes screen board... honda too... i think more on a user adapter phone interface......this carplay is just for "show"

is it only me or i've got some issues with android 4.3... i found a solution, but affraid of android versions ... is there any info about that android version compatibility ? does that list mean we can't update android ???

seems it works again...i've changed my connecting process, focusing first on connecting appradio app function , and after Bluetooth telephone....whereas appradio app info says the contrary...???

i definitly don't understand.....i'm lost you can see on the video...it reach almost to connect...and appradio app disconnect....

sorry for the question, but if i can't read anywhere the version i have, does it mean i'm on first version ? sincerly, i was thinking about updating, but....if no reel improvement .... can anybody confirm ? ( i'm with android phone...and seems that 8.3 concern the iphone )

New from the "war"... Don't ask me how....but now it works.... I thought my wife was worse than me about technics....but she show me a problem on the phone asking me "what is that ???" it was the appradio process to screen adjustement by puting fingers in the screen !!! I was really surprised this "step" happened so lately ????? So 2 things, maybe i'm completly a noob or...when i got back home with the car, my phone began to connect to my home wifi...and i think the s3 have some difficult to manage bluetooth , personal home wifi, direct wifi, at the same time...so with one process less..

so to resume , it's like normal connection with allshare cast dongle, and appradio app turn blue to grey out and disconnected at 75% connection level

Hi to all I could keep on the first topic but i would like to pay attention to some of you , wanting to upgrade your S3 or maybe other models to android 4.3... Since i've updated my S3, to 4.3... i can't connect normally to my sph-da100 i connect my smartphone to allshare cast dongle....it's ok i connect the Bluetooth for handsfree...it's ok BUT !!! when i launch appradio app... it try to connect....reach 75% and disconnect me.... On Google play store, one guy, using the normal connection ( mhl hdmi cable ? ) seems to have the same problems since, 4.3 update... So what to think....

tex... i've read one guy informin that with nexus 5 and slim port, he have "network" issues..... so, not sur 4.4...resolve all...

having some doubts...i finally jump on the S3 "4G"....work great till i've updated from android 4.1.2...to 4.3.... so i'm "wrecked" of that stupid updated that made me thought it will improve some features...and not giving me less... DON T UPGRADE TO 4.3 because you can do only "screen mirroring" without appradio "app" standard interface....it disconnect afer 75% succes.... i'm quiet surprise to the galaxy S3 ... but 4.3 os.....great but not for that...unless someone knows ???

i'm thinking of managing allshare cast when i'm in use, and buy the nexus 5 with slimport hdmi micro usb connector when my wife use it.... for exemple, the samsung galaxy S3 alone, in france, cost 250 euros...new with 2 years warranty... i found the nexus 5 for 270 brand new but from "return" shop service with warranty too of course... the slimport cost 10 euros.... so a nexus 5 compare to S3....wich deal is the best ? ( or another model )

Hi every one i've jumped from appradio DA01 to DA100...no regrets great screen, sound, etc.... i'm in dilema.... i definitly left apple for android... Looking on youtube , i saw that with allshare cast, we can make a "wireless" screen mirroring with some samsung products as my galaxy note 2 i'm using from my company.... work really correct in my car ...for wireless system !!! i didn't want to use physical connection because of my last issue with appradio 1 connector wich is terrible to manage ... the connector got almost broken....( twisted and so....for 2 years connecting and disconnectin
