  1. Do any of you DFW guys know anyone in the area that will do a bypass on a Z1?
  2. Thanks for your expertise and contributions to this forum.
  3. Thanks for your help. That is something that cant be done without going to the dash?
  4. Actually it was installed at the dealership where I bought the car new and had the Z1 installed aftermarket through their shop guys. The first time it would not work at all with steering controls. The second time I took it in only the volume will work. I believe they either used the swix or swip harness. I just needed to know that it was possible to program before I was aggressive in asking them to fix it. I am pretty sure that they did not install the vss wire correctly either. No 3d reading and compass is pointing wrong direction. Is this something that I could program without going inside t
  5. I dont know which wiring harness was used but regardless, shouldnt I be getting more steering wheel controls other than just the volume button??????
  6. I just purchased an 06' Navigator and the dealership installed the Z1. Not to inpressed with the install. Not sure the VSS wire is hooked up yet. Went back a second time to get steering wheel control hooked up. The only thing I can control from my steering wheel is the volume on the AV unit. I have read on here that you can reprogram the controls to do any of the functions you need. How is this done? Is it in the car manual? Dealership absolutely refused to bypass the brake system as so did two other Car Toys shop in the Dallas, Tx area. Does anyone know of a shop in the DFW area that will do
