  1. The system being testing has no modifications of any kind. No parking brake, not software edits, nothing.
  2. I have been having trouble with my Pioneer AVIC 90BT locking-up during boot. In order to troubleshoot the problem I tried to recreate the condition which leads to the lock up. I own a new 2009 ford mustang. In the first set of trials I turned on the car with just the battery, then I turned on the car by cranking the engine to see if this would effect the nav systems stability during start-up. I turned on the battery power to the car without cranking the engine 10 times. I waited a minimum of 1 minute between each test The head unit booted up each time without locking-up. No proble
  3. I called Pioneer support and they told me to send it in to there Columbus Ohio repair shop. I will do this on Monday.
  4. I own an AVIC F90BT and the unit works great except during about 25% of the boot-ups. When I start the car the splash screen comes on, the music starts playing, and then the Navigation Waring Message appears. However, the 90BT touchscreen will not respond. Using the knob I can still change channels on Sirus, AM/FM radio, Ipod, and adjust the volume.   5. I have done some research and found the following AVIC-F90BT installation on my 2009 mustang. The FORDAH made by Peripheral is specifically made for Ford vehicles with Navigation MSCAN databus radios. It will transmit the VSS, illumination, reverse output, parking brake, and a 5 volt rgulated amp turn on for factory installed subwoofers. For sat radio I choose Sirius which required two parts, the SCC1 tuner and Pioneer Bus Interface. I am still doing research on what type of antenna adapter to use and what would be a good looking install kit for the mustang.
  6. Hello, I need some advice on wiring a 2009 Ford Mustang which is currently equipped with a 500 Shaker System with Sirius Sat Radio. I am going to install an AVIC-F90BT Navigation radio into the auto and I have some newbe questions. What wiring harness would I use, part number and manufacturer. I have a Shaker 500 sound system and a Sirius Sat radio.
