  1. Hey all I got some cool splash screens off the gallery for my 90bt, but only one fits the screen completely. I read the manual and the max settings are something like 2059x1944 and I tried adjusting pics to that size to fill the screen ,but it was a no go. Any thoughts? The one that worked the best was a honda sign that was 480x360 jpeg.
  2. hey all I just finished putting a new splash seen on my 90bt, I thought it was going to be hard, but it was actually really easy. I am defently not a hacker like some of these other guys, but I try. I just got the unit installed the other day so I have not tried to do many things with it yet. But this is how I changed the loading screen and what I did do make it work. First you need to do is find a JPG you want to install (this is the one I used) honda_89.jpg then get an sd scanner/reader and create a file called pictures and then drag and drop the file into the file on the sd card th
  3. I just did the hard wire it works great thanks for all the help.
  4. thanks for the siteIm going to check it out now, if it fixes my problem then I do love you. the funny part the installation on this stereo was so easy compared to this part!
  5. Im must be an idiot I cant figure out this software bypass, ive read most of these forms, but I can not find the files that need to be changed. Does anyone have an exact location or where I can download what I need to put on the sd card? Also has anyone tried these pay sites? because at his point I would like to just pay for some one to do this for me.
  6. wow thats some response um I dont think I get the hardware bypass either to be honest I can usually fake my way through the software stuff if some one shows me how. I finished all of the install except the vss, my honda guy said to be really careful you can screw you computer up in the car. But all an all the thing is working great an yes that what the wire is for is exact speed to the machine, but it does fine with out it. Now if anyone wants to show me how to hardwire the bypass that wouldbe great or walk me through the software bypass. If not I will figure this stuff out eventually
  7. thanks I will read them right now, I just realized the first hurdle I have to over come is: Does the vss wire need to be connected?
  8. Hello all. I have read this form a little bit, but I am so confused, I could really use some help. I have just installed a avic-90bt in my 05 honda pilot. This is my first system like this an I really have no idea what the software can do or how to bypass the parking break? I am not brain dead when it comes to this kind of stuff, but this I am not sure of. People are talking about changing speed settings to 128 and tricking the system. Where are they making these changes and how? Also is their anyother way to do this, I didn't connect the vss, mainly because I dont know where it is in my car. S
