I am too and that is the thing. I have had absolutely no problems with the map what so ever. I don't know what else it can be. Also beside the AV source switching it also mutes itself but that happens on rare occasions. I am to the point on sending it in to get it professionally looked at and fixed.

Is there any info in the forum on replacing or fixing this type of problem. i cannot seem to find any.

i believe this is the problems. It seems to happen the most when the temperature in the car changes. I have to put the screen down like I am about to play a dvd for the cycling to stop.

I am in Fort Worth Texas, 99 degrees plus past two weeks.

For the past couple of weeks my Z3 has been switching bands on its own. The only way to keep it from switching is to drop down the screen like if I am about to insert a dvd. I checked all the wires and cannot find a short. Some advice will be appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. Thanks is what I have done. It just irks me though that I cannot event get the original mix cd to play in the avic as a cd not saved on the HD even though the cd plays in everything else.

Does anyone know how you can get the Z1 to play live cds that are broken up into tracks without a 2 sec the gap between each track. My cd works great on every other player including the Kenwood in my wife car, but in the Z1 there is a 2 sec pause between tracks, both on the cd and the HD, help
