  1. Figured it out. More detail at this post: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=21337&p=153910&sid=dfb4315159015df7999e5b41f7949af0#p153910
  2. Figured it out. Same issue you guys had, only mine doesn't have RCA plugs. I actually had the wiring harness wired up wrong. I had the wires connected to their like colors, but after carefully reading the directions again, with the stock amp, I needed to reverse a couple of them. Thanks for the informative post!
  3. OK, please bear with me, I'm brand new to this. I'm having the EXACT same issue you describe in this post, but I have a factory amp. I installed the system myself, never touched the amp. Where would I find the RCA's you guys are talking about?? Thanks!!
  4. Just installed an F700BT, iPod, nav, CD, radio, all is well. When I try to use the hands free phone feature, I get no sound at all. I've tried using an iPhone 3G and my wife's LG VU. They both connect just fine, but when I try to make a call, I get nothing. The other end can hear me just fine. Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere, but I didn't see it. Thanks!
  5. So, I think I solved it. I tucked my wiring harness down inside the dash as far as I could to relieve pressure off the plugs on the back of the deck. This seems to have fixed the problem. I must have a bad connection or short somewhere in one of those plugs when they are jammed into the rest of the harness.
  6. Hey, I'm brand new to this. I just installed the AVIC-F700BT, did the parking break bypass, and my sound comes in and out VERY frequently. I get about 3 to 4 seconds of sound, then 3 to 4 seconds of silence. Only seems to do it when the vehicle is in motion. Parked in the garage, the sound is fine. I know it sounds like a short of some kind, but I've triple checked all of my connections. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
