I'm trying to find out if DVD+R Dual Layer discs are supported by the F90BT. I see in the manual where it says it supports DVD-R Dual Layer discs, but nothing about DVD+R Dual Layer. Does that mean DVD+R Dual Layer discs are not supported by the F90BT? I'm asking because all I can find around here are DVD+R and need to burn a few movies that require Dual Layer discs. I have a F90BT in my car and just bought a 120 gig iPod Classic that I'm going to hook up to it. I finished ripping all of the music I want on my iPod and it has 2,808 songs 8:19:00:44 time (22.46 GB) worth of music on it. I created about 35 playlists. I did not put any photos, audiobooks, podcasts, videos, or movies on it. How long will it take my F90BT to build it's iPod VR catalog?

did you turn on VR indexing in the system settings? you might need to allow that to run one time to update the VR to the new contacts. then turn it back off after its updated. might help, might not, but hey, what could it hurt to allow it to run one time. I looked in System Settings and didn't see anything about VR indexing. There is a setting for VR Catalog Mode in the AV System Settings menu and that is set to "On". Where is this VR indexing in System Settings?

I copied the Phonebook I sent to my AVIC-F90BT from my BlackBerry Curve 8310 to an SD Card after booting to Test Mode, copied that file to my PC, and then edited it using the application discussed in this thread. I proceeded to copy the edited file from my PC to an SD Card, booted the AVIC-F90BT into Test Mode, copied the from from SD Card to the AVIC flash drive (to the proper location). While my Contacts are much better organized now, VR does not work with them. I created 4 custom POI's using AvicFeeds. I wasn't able to get them all into one KML file, instead they went into separate files. I couldn't figure out how to get them into one, which I don't think is a big deal, but it would be nice, so if anyone knows how to do this, let me know. My main question is how do I upload these custom POI's to my AVIC-F90BT? I looked through the manual and didn't anything.

The F90BT has connected automatically with my BlackBerry everytime since I posted this. I don't know why as I didn't change any settings. Any ideas on my other questions?

My F90BT was installed in my car this weekend and I've been playing aorund with it. I've noticed a couple of things with the Bluetooth connectivity with my AT&T BlackBerry Curve 8310 running O/S 4.5.0.110. 1. I have both the F90BT and my BlackBerry setup for automatic detection and connection, but in the approximately 15 times I've started my car up (in turn, powering up the F90BT) the two have only automatically connected once. Is there a trick to getting this to work all the time? 2. Also, it took me several attempts to transfer my phone book from my BlackBerry to the F90BT.

I just got my F90BT installed and am having the same problem with my 8GB Sandisk Cruzer Micro. In my previous vehicle I had a Sony head unit that wouldn't recognize this particular device either.

Limited storage has always been the reason I've never purchased an iPod or any other MP3 player for that matter. I'm into music big time and have almost 450 GB of compressed tunes on my external music drive. That's a lot of rock and roll, but it's what I listen to. If this works, I'm all over it.

I recently ordered a Pioneer Premier AVIC-F90BT for my 2006 Ford Mustang GT which has the stock Shaker 500 system still in it. I have been doing some research on what wiring harnesses and adapters I may need to do the install and have found conflicting information. Crutchfield says I need the PAC C2R-FRD1. One local install shop agrees with them. Another local install shop says I don't need it. Some web forum posts say I need the Metra 70-5521. Other posts say I need the Metra 70-5511. Some say I need a RCA Y adapter. My local install shops say the F90BT does not support Ford's Volume

I've heard conflicting information on Pioneer's 2 year warranty on the AVIC-F90BT. If you buy it from a store front, you're convered with Pioneer's 2 year warranty on the unit. I understand that. I am considering installing the Pioneer AVIC-F90BT in my 2006 Ford Mustang GT replacing the stock Shaker 500. I am wondering if the F90BT has speed sensing volume where the volume of the head unit will automatically increase if the speed of the vehicle is increased. I would also like to know if it is compatible with Ford's accessory delay feature where the F90BT will remain on for up to 10 minutes after the vehicle has been turned off or until a door is opened.
