I heard about the firmware updates and software updates do I need to install them to my unit I just got yesterday ... Like wat do the update consist off how would it help my unit and me.. And also how do I install it wat do I do

Ok like with my parkin brake on when j got to the main screen then destination the address icon is gray but the poi not and when I got to settings my navi and system settings is grey but not my av sound and av settings and my phone settings are grey why am I having this probelm I just got it installed yesterday

No I put my parking brake on I tha navi settings and system settings and my address option and phone settings

not allowing me to get to some settings they are grey on my f700bt wats the problem
