I put mine right on top of the head unit under the heat vents inside the console. It works just fine.

I figured it out. I had to turn on the TV out setting in video settings on my iPod.

I'm new here and just found this site, really has helped me during install. I have a F700bt, with the iPod cable, steering wheel controls and have done the bypass. Whenever I play a video, it'll only play a few minutes of the video then turns my iPod off. It's annoying that i have to unplug and plug the iPod back in to replay the video where i left off. Is there a setting that i'm missing? i don't think its a hardware problem because when playing music it works just fine. Thanks for the help in advance.
