  1. only problem I have now is sometimes my iphone doesn't connect.(after the avic is fully booted up). and 1 time I was only getting sound thru the right speakers. I blew out the connection and it has worked fine.Im using the Pioneer cable

2.06 worked fine for me also. I haven't hacked or modded the unit, only have the hardwired bypass. I also don't use the VR so im no help there.

some friends say the bluetooth sounds like shit, but that may be their phone or isolated incidents.

even with having to pay for the update they should have just gave us, im about 91% satisfied OVERALL with my purchase and experience. I think I will just get a carputer next time. or shit maybe apple will make car stereos with real iphone support, itunes, etc...it could work

  2. shit happens, we all got screwed a bit with this product line. F series, the F is for Fu@K you lol

    good luck dealing with them

on a side note, mine has never really had any problems, occasional iPhone connect issues tho. I didn't hack it either.

had to wait a week to do my update because their password site was down. :x

I am pleased with the new update (pissed about having to pay for it!!!)but I doubt I will ever buy another Pioneer because of the poor support.

  3. i think its because it was the wrong password because I got it too and noticed this at the bottom of the page...

The Password shown above is unique and can only be used with the Device Number (Pioneer navigation unit) and Media Number (CNDV-700HD) you entered on the previous screen. Once you leave this screen, the password CANNOT be regenerated.

It is highly recommended that you print this screen or write down the Password. This Password is required to continue the CNDV-700HD software installation.

For detailed instructions on how to continue the CNDV-700HD software installation, please see Step 2 in the Operation Manual for Updating included in the CNDV-700HD package.

The F900 doesnt use this 'CNDV-700HD ' I bought and have the CNSD-100FM and im afraid the password I got will screw me like they did you

  4. I just entered mine and got a password back and also.. this at the bottom..

this isnt what I ordered, it is a CNSD-100FM

    im scared

  5. Im running a 3g also, F900 with pioneer cable. Plug it in, ipod starts, go to your desktop and select pandora. Works real good :)

what I would like to see someday is my iphone screen displayed on my F900. but that may be too much to ask lol.

oh and does streaming music by bluetooth work with the 3.0(avic) update? I hacked/unlocked the tethering on my phone but nothing I have uses it, closest I came is a notebook seeing the phone but couldn't do anything

  6. yeah I got the same mail from pioneer, basically...

sorry you're fucked on this, buy 3.0 for $60 and here's a useless 2.06 free , have a great day and screw you

i bought mine in april. in California

    heres the mail....

Thank you for contacting Pioneer Electronics, Inc.

The fee is actually reduced from 130 to 60 dollars, also this firmware is not the only thing that is going to be updated. The software comes with the New maps that Teleatlas provided and also POI's. So, when you purchase the SD cards for 60 dollars, it will come with the 3.0 firmware and also the Map upgrades. Thank You, OliverCustomer Service Representative
