same issue, my antennae has always been under the windshield. It reads about 400ft off, and says good signal. I barely use the GPS so I deal with it. although it has made me miss a turn or 2

check your connections, maybe a bad power wire ? take your time and look around for loose wires . good luck

is your USB connection the pioneer or apple cable? the one with the RCA's that plug into the rear of your stereo? you cant just use a USB to connect, the RCA's are for the sound. and thats why pioneer says 'wont work'

yeah im bummed, I have an iphone but the F900 apple should just shut down these posers and make car stereos

only problem I have now is sometimes my iphone doesn't connect.(after the avic is fully booted up). and 1 time I was only getting sound thru the right speakers. I blew out the connection and it has worked fine.Im using the Pioneer cable 2.06 worked fine for me also. I haven't hacked or modded the unit, only have the hardwired bypass. I also don't use the VR so im no help there. some friends say the bluetooth sounds like shit, but that may be their phone or isolated incidents. even with having to pay for the update they should have just gave us, im about 91% satisfied OVERALL with my purc

shit happens, we all got screwed a bit with this product line. F series, the F is for Fu@K you lol good luck dealing with them on a side note, mine has never really had any problems,occasional iPhone connect issues tho. I didn't hack it either. had to wait a week to do my update because their password site was down. I am pleased with the new update (pissed about having to pay for it!!!)but I doubt I will ever buy another Pioneer because of the poor support.

well, I did the update and it all worked out fine no errors and it took about 45 mins for SD#2 new POI icons are sweet, new beep sounds, better touch screen response. I'll have to live with it for a while, but I like it so far. gl

The Password shown above is unique and can only be used with the Device Number (Pioneer navigation unit) and Media Number (CNDV-700HD) you entered on the previous screen. Once you leave this screen, the password CANNOT be regenerated. It is highly recommended that you print this screen or write down the Password. still down, now im kinda getting pissed. a month of waiting for the update, now waiting since friday to FINISH this update. This will make me NEVER buy a Pioneer product again. $ .02
