Okay, here comes another noob question. What does "limit the number of folder hierarchy levels to eight" mean? I use the Roxio DigitalMedia software to make my data cds and music cds, but I have no clue what that means?

I don't mind having to use the ipod to control the music and video's. So this is currently the only draw back then, not being able to control the music and video's from the Z1. All I need is the Apple cable.

So this should be enough? But I won't be able to play music, only videos?

I just got an ipod video for xmas. What do I need to connect my ipod video to my Z1? Is it a simple Ipod adaptor? Thanks guys

ABT won't personally wire the bypass. I am going back to get the ipod adaptor installed(they ordered the wrong one), and the install guy told me that he can walk me through the bypass procedures while my car is in the shop but he can't personally do it. Thats good enough for me.

Well the headlight flicker didn't work. So I need to do the 06/07 bypass. I got the wrong ipod adaptor, so I have to take my car back to the shop to get that installed. When I take it back, I am going to take the write up on the bypass and have the install guy run me through it.

Gotcha. How can I tell when it was made? Hopefully the guys doing my install are willing to do the extra step for me.

I am getting a Z1 unit installed on Tuesday on my 2003 GS 300. I will also be getting the Ipod adaptor, blue tooth, and the rearview camera. Is there anything I really need to know before then? I am reading about you guys getting these Ducatiboy bypasses, do I need one? Does this bypass do the same thing that the headlight flicker trick will do? What should I look out for? Thanks
