  1. hehehe. The hazard button is illuminated and is directly above my stereo install, so it was by far the easiest ILL wire to tap into. I just didn't realize when I actually turned the hazard button on that the light blinks, therefore causing the ILL wire to pulse on and off. Who knew
  2. Whenever I turn my hazard lights on (thankfully almost never) my Z1 changes from day to night to day to night to day to night and keeps perfect time with the hazard light flasher. I'll change it to a different wire next time I'm in there for something, but for now I'll just have to live with it and laugh. Thought I'd warn anyone thinking about doing this JT

    Z1 Update

I just checked the pioneer website and there is still no "buy now" button under the product. Were you able to find somewhere on Pioneer's site that you can actually purchase the discs?

    Z1 Update

    Here's the walkthrough of the install. https://www.pioneernavigationupdate.com ... hrough.pdf
  7. Thanks for the info on the internal hard drive. No word from Pioneer support yet, but I'm not holding my breath either. 3 unsuccessful boots this weekend. This sucks. JT
  8. I am having the same boot screen problem with my Z1. I live in Arizona and a couple weeks ago it started for the first time. Now it's happening more often as the heat is increasing here. I park my car in the garage at home so when I leave for work in the morning it has never frozen up yet, but when I park in the parking garage at work, when I leave for lunch, or when I leave for home at night it happens frequently now. I also did the CDDB update discs, but like I said, I haven't noticed any problems at all until summer started here. It seems like it's definitely related to the heat, bu
  9. Thats great news! Thanks everyone for the replies, and yes, thanks to Ducati for the rockin flasher :) JT
  10. I have DucatiBoys flasher module but I hvae no illumination wire to hook it to. Can I just hook it up to the Z1 with power and ground to the HU's illumination wire without hooking it up to my car's nonexistant wire? JT
