Same answer the last 3 weeks, I have phoned on Monday, "should be in by the end of the week for mailing".

I am tring to find the preset listings of the fm radio and Sirius,in the system file folders.

So I can change the wording from Preset 1 to 80's on 8, and so on.

Because it would be nice to know what stations are where in the preset list.

Other than Preset 1, Preset 2, Preset 3, ect..

I tried looking in the image file but I could not find.

Does anyone know where they can be found or if this can be done?

Anyone get their update mailed yet in Canada? I ordered last week and as of today status is "Awaiting shipment".

Might be a while if they have to convert all the info into french and print it. Hope not.

Can anyone that has installed this update compare it to the 3.01 update. What has been added? if they are using some branded POI icons now like the Z models?

But I used set home by map location (I think) and that way worked

A nice how to guide and what programs you use to add icons would be nice.

I have tried to add icons but when I add it to the unit the unit crashes, so I load up the one I downloaded from this site. Editing the poi.icons file is no problem I think ?, but editing the .bmp files is where I think my problems are.

When the blue screen comes up you have to press the volume knob Up, Up, Down, Menu, Left, Right.

to get into loading WINce. use the formate from sd card and follow the instructions.

So far so good I now can get into test mode so far no reboots now I'm running a us avic in Europe so before I had a hacked ezrider file and a world wide liecence do I need the same again but for the 3.0 and if ap does anyone have them also what maps can I donwload what map versions thanks Aliyah for help so far cheers again

Yes you do, but Ezrider is not hacked yet for IGO 8.3 which is part of the 3.0 to 3.01 software update from Pioneer. The old version of IGO is 8.0 which was part of pioneer's 2.0 software

Can we get this hack updated to 3.01? It worked ok in 3.0, but crashes the Map screen and causes reboots in 3.01.

Did you re-do after you updated to 3.01?

because if you didn't you would have over written the files

Very pitiful of Pioneer Canada not only NOT to give a discount like the States but to charge us .28 on the dollar when it is around .05 on the dollar now.

I was going to buy the update even though I have the update installed already, but now they can go SCR*W themselves.

Very bad service for a product that is falling behind the competiton with a price that is outragous. If not for this forum improving the unit the way I like it, I would have sold it after a couple months of using it.

Has any one gotten the Branded icons to work with the latest system update to 3.01?

Or which way of installing them.

I tried installing a couple of ways (2.0 system ways)

but system keeps rebooting when I install them.

I would like to know as well. I haven't added the branded POI icons yet and would like to soon and my current POI's are semi-transparent also.

the settings for the POI being transparent is in the .spr files associated with the POI .bmp file

every POI .bmp file has a .spr file with it

an example of a .spr file

BmpFlags = 0

DefFlags = ALPHA_PIXEL | ALPHA_LAYER

DefPhase = 1

Stripes = 32

DefAlpha = 22

The heading for transparency is DefAlpha

change the number higher to get the image more solid

The 3.01 does not install according to the pioneer instructions.

I placed the LPU folder on the sd card, inserted into stereo, powered up stereo but it justs boots up normal no - automatic update! should I start up the testmode and copy and paste? any tips?

maybe i need to take the files out of the LPU folder and place them on the sd card?

please help...

All I did was to download 3.00 from this forum

download 3.01 from the pioneer web site

merge (copy and replace) the 2 file coping 3.01 files to the full 3.00 file

on the computer, to the proper folders

copy completed files to disc with testmode

load on to unit after updating Wince by formating

Alright I reloaded it to rapidshare, I didn't notice the 10 download limit. I also set up a free account with another company who says they have unlimited downloads that's the second link. One of those should work.

Reinstall WINce update by format method

Reinstall My Flash Disk

Uploaded 3.1 on my 90BT, now I get random reboots and also after a incoming call the unit gos to the map instead of staying on the audio source.. Any ideas?

Have you Modified any files?

Should be working if you updated WINce by format and copied all the 3.0 files to My Flash Disc

Then copied all the 3.01 files to the proper locations.

Unzip torrent file

open "IDT_v3.5" folder

copy "MY Flash Disk" folder to a SD card

copy testmode to SD card

load SD card to unit

start unit

should go into test mode

copy all file and folders in MY FLASH DISK from the SD card

to in the "MY FLASH DISK" on the unit

pull out the SD Card when coping is finished

restart unit by key or reset button

If you are using test mode to install, copy the splash screen you want (must be 800 x 480 in size) to

My Flash Disk/DATA/SplashPic

Restart unit

Then when you go into Menu/settings/system settings/Splash Screen

to change the splash sceen it will be listed there.
