the response I got from Pioneer is that they are shipping soon, but they're not out yet.

Can you eleborate a bit on how to use/wire the relay. Is there a specific one I should use? also, are there any issues with using the remote lead to turn on mulitple items, ie triggering the relay plus turning on my amps?

Did you run into any issues? I'm assuming you also bypassed the parking break interlock... what method did you use? Also, how's the iPod interface? Using a standard cable or the 4100-specific one?
