  1. It's wired correctly, it's been in my truck for 5 plus years with no issues. All of a sudden the stations will not stay programmed, if I disconecet the constant 12V wire not the ignition you lose more than the stations, the eq settings, camera and sub imput turn off. That's why I can't seem to figure out why just the stations go away and it doen't happen every time I shut it off, just sometimes..
  2. I keep losing the channel presets on my AVIC Z2/3, not anything else. I program them in and after shuting off the truck I lose them, not all the time just sometimes. I've checked the connections and all seams good. I tried to duplicate it by disconnecting the 12V constant power but that turns off more that just the stations camera, eq, sub and more. All I lose when this is happening is the channel settings they revert back to channel 1. I've reset it a few times with no help.. Anyone ever have this or any ideas.. Any help is appreciated.. Thanks
  3. Thanks for the info CIO... I will pull the unit tomorrow and switch the HD.. I might be able to reach after removing the dash bezel..
  4. I have a similar problem, mine froze up today for the first time. It’s a Z2 with a 60G Z3 update that was working great for about a month with no issues. Nav, phone works fine but almost everything else is froze. I can’t get to XM, FM, AM or Library. Also no volume control, I tried pulling the fuses no help, then tried the reset. All that did was turn it off and I can’t turn anything back on. I can’t even open the screen to pull the HD. Is there any way to open the screen without power to the unit? I would like to swap my old HD in and see if that’s the problem… Randy
