I already tried that but like you, I can't get into testmode. For now I am using a 700bt that my father had in a car that he doesn't drive anymore. I found a merchant on ebay that repairs these units for about $120. I may decide to go that route if I can get some extra cash. For anyone else who is interested, the website is www.turbotunes.com.

Try covering all your RCA connectors with electrical tape, even ones that are connected to something. You could have one of them hitting something metal and grounding out causing interference.

Just had this problem with my 900bt. Will check the power supply tomorrow. Hopefully it will be something simple.

I have the same issue with my f900bt. Just happened all of a sudden. Unit is stock with 2.0 update only. Worked fine when I shut the car off on Friday and then the car sat all day Saturday. Started it up this morning and noticed the radio did not come on. The buttons light up for 20 seconds and then go out. I can hear the fan still running in the background. When I try to enter the service mode by holding down Reset, Menu, Map, and Eject, the lights all go out. When I release Reset, the lights start flashing but still nothing happens. The screen stays completely black. Any suggestion

I have a 900bt and I have not yet upgraded to 3.0. For some reason, the time will not update for DST. Any ideas? Thanks

Sorry, I guess I should have been more specific. I am talking about the XM Radio function where you can have the unit memorize up to 8 songs and it will let you know when one of them is playing on any of the XM channels. My old XM radio had a feature where you could either memorize specific songs or just the artists and I was wondering if there is a mod you can do to the Pioneer unit that would allow the same choice.

Does anyone know if it is possible to modify the way songs are memorized? I would like the unit to just memorize artists only so that any time a song by that artist comes on it will let me know. Thanks
