I want to try reinstalling the 2.0 update but I'm worried about voiding and warrenty. I purchased the F900BT thru Crutchfield with an extended warrenty.

Where can I get a backup copy?

Could this be a hardware or software problem??

I got my F900BT 4 months ago and it was working fine until last week when the VR stopped working. I would press the main joystick to activate the VR and the system would freeze for a minute, then it would recover. Then the radio or ipod would permanently mute, except for the tones when navigating the menus. To clear the system, I would have to manual reboot. I noticed this problem after the MSN Direct free demo expired. I think that the VR software in the system is damaged, because everything else is working. Any ideas?
