The phone is a blackberry 7105t. It seems to find the pioneer nav, after I follow the add device screen ,but will not pair up. I get a message when I start the car saying bluetooth connected.

I tried to pair and it found the pioneer blue tooth but would not pair up.

not so dumd a questiopn. I know that the phone is compatible to the Z1 module I bought. After that I am not sure what you mean. Thanks

I used the directions recieved here, and had no problem by-passing the Z1 dvd nav. I did purchase some high end connectors to insure that the wires were grounded properly, as that appears to be a issue at times

I installed the blue tooth module as per. It was reconized, but it does not work. Meaning no ringing are nothing when I call my phone.

After finding this site I realized that I would have done a better job of installing the Z1 than the sellers. You guys have all the anwers I could not get from the people who sold me the unit. I am 48 years old and am not that computer savy, but if anybody followed the instructions and instant help thats provided here it would be a snap. Again thanks for the info so when I go down this week to give them my new 350Z for the 3rd time I will tell them whats wrong and know the what I need done. Hi there is no icon or anything . I suspect they did not hook up the mic.

My avic Z1 is not responding to voice commands. Anybody got any ideas, before I go to circuit city and have them rip it out of my car. And go buy a bunch of paper maps.
