Trying to do this on my F700. I made it through all of the steps no problem, but am running into a problem with the maps. Could someone clarify where the maps are supposed to go? I found them under the APL2 contents folder that has MAPS and POI. Do I need to download each of the 50 states and put them in this folder? Then where do the DEM map files go? I am hoping the reason my system shows the "please wait system starting" message is because I do not have the right maps... Would this make sense? Thanks!

I have two questions... When I don't go where SamanthaHybredTTS tells me, I get this annoying British guy saying "I'd tell you where to go, but you dont listen" or "Brain the size of the globe and im here, thats job satisfaction" of some such thing. It sounds weird when samantha is speaking the rest of the time....he also warns if I am speeding, and sometimes they speak at the same time. Is there a way to get rid of him!? Just installed the Newb all-in-one....this strangely was the first thing I did after I installed my F700 because i've been stalking this forum for like two weeks. It worked great, and was easy! Thanks for all your work and dedication Cmh928!

I noticed the same thing today, try turning up the System Volume. Its not in the nav menu, (its in the system one). I did this and the voice setting in the nav menu seems to be tied to the whole system settings. Which means if you turn down the system to get rid of the beeps, you wont hear the nav directions...1st post....so hope this works. =)
