From my understanding this includes the software parking break bypass. I've already done the hardware bypass. Will this interfere with the hardware bypass? If so how do I remove the software bypass mod from the newbie installer before I install?

Does the OS create a PhoneBook DB file per each phone that is sync'd? I have 2 PhoneBook DB files and I want to remove one if it is not tied to my primary phone. The other part is how can I find out which Phonebook DB file is tied to which phone?

I having the same issue with the same phone on a 700BT. Try to pair an iPhone 3G and it reboots every time. It worked one time the day I got the unit, then started rebooting when someone called in. I re-paired the device and now it will only reboot when trying to pair.

I'm having this same issue using an iPhone 3G. When I removed the pair, it removed the contacts too, so I don't know where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does 800x480 look better? I still have not installed the radio yet. Was wondering which resolutions looks better?

Hi, this is my first post here. I just ordered my F700BT along with the iPod cable and XM tuner. I went ahead and created a splash screen for my car if anyone else is interested. I have a 2008 Volkswagon Jetta Wolfsburg edition. It uses the maximum resolution as noted in the manual. 2592x1944. It's just a generic VW logo with the 'Drivers wanted' slogan. I noticed the thumbnail created looks bad. Please click to see the hi-res image.
