  1. You need to convert them to a certain file type (MP4 I think?). Also, the video and audio bitrates have to be fairly low, too, when you're converting. (Not sure what the maximum bitrate is, sorry.)
  2. What the hell?! Doesn't the unit itself cost less than $500?! Haha... I'm sorry man, but that is WAY too much... Hell, I paid $75 to get mine installed to the amp, and in dash.
  3. So the ND-G500 amp only supports the max volume that I am getting then?... Well, the amp was built for this unit... no other amp will work with this unit, correct? Or is there a way to get another amp to work with this unit? I know my speakers go louder, because I used to have a Pioneer deck that went up to volume 52 (on the car's factory amp, too!), and hell was that ever loud!
  4. You are correct. The F500BT was on sale at a local Futureshop (regular $599) for $350! (This is in Canadian dollars) I just couldn't resist. I love the unit, and it's working just fine the way it is. I didn't want to spend CAD $1299 for an F900. That was WAY out of my price range. I'm not sure why it is only showing the left side of the images... I guess the images were far too big, and Avic411 automatically cut them to fit. Odd. Anyway, thanks guys. I will be getting an amp that has SUBWOOFER control, so I am not too worried about that.. However, I am not happy about the MAX 2
  5. Hey guys, just thought I'd share my installed F500BT install with all of you. Please note that the F500BT is not designed to fit in the dashboard of any vehicle, but a buddy of mine and I custom installed it to get it to fit just right. Here's the photo's of the final install! It works charms. Thanks for viewing.
  6. Can someone kindly hack the F500BT to make it possible to get more volume out of the unit?... I'm using the ND-G500 amplifier that came with the unit, and have the music coming out of the stock speakers in my car, and although it is quite loud, some songs are quieter than others, and I'd like to be able to raise the volume just a bit more... At the rate the volume goes up now, I'd like it if I would be able to raise the volume up to VOL 30. Right now, as most of you already know, the max volume is VOL 20. Many thanks in advance.
  7. Hey folks, I've been reading around the AVIC411 boards for a couple of weeks now, and like what I see... There are some pretty nice modifications out there for the F500BT that I didn't know about before reaching these boards. Anyway, the reason for my post this morning is because I'm having difficulties installing the F500BT & ND-G500 combo I recently purchased. Right now I've got the F500BT installed through the cig lighter/aux connection, but when it comes to the ND-G500 Amplifier, I've got no idea what I'm doing. See, what's confusing me is this... The main wires coming from
