  1. Just to update my own problem: I received a 3G iphone from a friend. After upgrading to this phone, everything works as it did before. Not sure why i had 2 different first gen iphones stop working, but everything appears fine with the 3G and beyond.
  2. I have a z1 upgraded to z3 and a first gen iphone. i never had a problem connecting the phone and playing music. After the most recent update to the iphone software (3.0 i guess) i've found that the headunit won't recognize the phone as an ipod anymore thus not allowing me to play music. I still get the "airplane mode" error on the phone though, so obv its not a problem in the connection. I've done searches and havn't come across anything explaining this. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Please and thank you.
  3. Ahh no i havn't... Didn't even think it was associated with the IPOD itself. I'll give this a try. TY.
  4. I did a search, but couldn't find a problem like mine. I have the z1, never have upgraded it to the z2. When i intially installed it, everything worked fine. Then my ipod got stolen right before apple released the new "IPod Classic" version. So i had to buy that one. Now when connected, everything works fine except the song won't update when change. It stays frozen on the intial song the entire time. Very small problem, but very very annoying. Anyone got any ideas/seen this before?
  5. I went and reread the instructions and apparently i wasn't following them exactly right. I was unaware that i had to hit "start registration from cell phone" and then type in the password on my cell phone. Makes more sense now. So even when you think you're doing it right, look again.
  6. Yea i got the endless passkey from starting the process on my phone. I tried to do the process starting from the navi unit but when i select start from nav it just sits there for a few seconds then tells me "No Available Phone Found". Very depressing.
  7. Yea i've always started the discovery from the phone. And i know it works but everytime i type in the passcode it tells me to type in the passcode again. One thing i did not do is reset the phone, so i guess i'll give that a try and see what happens.
  8. I really feel like this is going to be some stupid answer that i easily overlooked but i'm at my last nerve trying to connect my phone. I get the acknowledgement that bluetooth is connected when i turn on my z1 and my phone (Spring PPC-6700) can find the z1 when i do a bluetooth search. When i try to connect to it using the default 1111 password i get an error saying that connection cannot be established or bad password. I also can't register my phone from the nav unit because when its giving me a "No Phones Available" error. I tried changing the phone password on the z1 but that didn't ge
