  1. well i ended up calling into pioneer... and they told me that i HAD to ground the unit... is this true? he said it could be causing the unit to run correctly and the lock out shortly after... he also told me to send in my wiring harness with it and explain that in the description. the guy was also a complete asshole and gave me nothing but attitude when i was asking my questions, he must've been cranky cuz his old lady is bangin the milk man
  2. yeah see pioneer did the software reload TWICE and its still doing the same thing... next step is a baseball bat
  3. none of the buttons are lighting up... i cant even get into the test mode since the screen wont power back up... now here is teh weird part... if i take out the unit, disconnect it, let it sit for a few days and then go and plug it back in, it does the same thing... works for a few hours and then the following morning after it sits, it doesnt work... can't figure it out and its as if pioneer doesn't even read my description that they asked me to put in the box.. thanks for any help fellas!
  4. any suggestions as to how to get my point across to pioneer that i want this bad boy replaced? such a shame because these head units(the whole f-series) are some pretty bad ass units... FTL
