I had the installer perform the bypass on the n5 when I got the unit, and I have video while driving. However, when navigating two of the options are grayed out (guide view and route view). Also, the guide voice only tells me once I reached the destination (all of the credit, none of the work) but fails to "see" as I've passed each checkpoint. I'm pretty sure the brain is facing the right direction (ipod connection is in front), and the speed pulse is connected as it does register... Does anyone have any suggestions?

I got my N5 yesterday. I used the same technique described on other posts. It is the same as the N4. You use an extra wire in the second "magic" slot, ground it. Also ground the parking brake. You should be good to go.
