  1. Never mind, I found them. Deleting the gps bin files and user data did not work for me. Actually got a bit better though. It now waits until the music starts playing, gives you about a verse, then reboots. Still working on it.
  2. Hey guys. I haven't been here in quite a while. I had finally gotten my F90BT modded just the way I wanted and was loving life. Until recently. I am now having this exact problem here. A couple of weeks ago, while on a 6 hour drive, my Avic started rebooting continually for no apparent reason. I have found that while sitting still or moving very slowly it works beautifully. As soon as I start actually driving it reboots. It actually scared the sh*t out of me the other day when I pulled up to a long red light. The unit actually booted while I was sitting there and started blasting some
  3. From Wiki: Occasionally, a magenta background is used, as in some software applications where the magenta or fuchsia key value #FF00FF is sometimes referred to as "magic pink".[7] BTW, Magic Pink only seems to work with the Pioneer software( AV system, Phone, etc.) and not with the Igo Nav software.

    IDT Fund!

IDT's killer mods turned my annoying, barely usable Avic into a really nice Nav unit. PayPal sent. Glad to help.
  5. Too bad! Maybe the road I was on didn't have as long a name as yours. If I find the same issue, I'll revert to black as well. Until then, I'm really digging having everything semi-transparent on my map.
  6. The text didn't shrink. It appeared to disappear underneath the little play icon. Matter of fact one letter was partially hidden by the icon but did not show through the transparent BG. As for the transparency of the bmps, I merely filled them with magic pink. They are not alpha layer transparencies. transparent AV title bar.zip
  7. Well, that explains it! I was under the impression that I was in tilted 2d mode because of the North up dilemma or some such thing. Apparently, I got my thinking backwards. Thanks, IDT.
  8. Hey eurotuner, so I had the opportunity to test out whether or not the street info text overlaps the AV info today and the answer is no. The long road name stops at the little triangle play icon. I did a little research and I think this is dictated by this line in the navigatemap_800_480.ui I believe the w=580 statement limits the width of the road name info to 580 pixels.
  9. Ok guys, I'm a little confused about something here. I've read this thread a hundred times and still can't quit figure this out. I am using IDT's latest killer mod. I have replaced the little red car with a picture of my own which is gray, BTW, and is semi-transparent here too. Anyways, no problem there. But in this mod, with the horizon tilted, 2d looks like 3d and 3d looks like 2d. So, the little car image appears on the straight down, 3d view, but the top of this thread talks about adding the car to the 2d view. I have a picture of the rear of my car I'd like to show up on my tilted
  10. Good question. I haven't been on a road with a name that long. We'll have to see.
  11. So, after reading this forum for the last couple of months and gathering some great information, I noticed something. Many of you guys have created some fantastic mods and schemes here and I thank you all for your hard work! But one thing bothered me. All of these beautiful, slick looking mods still had those goofy looking gray or red AV buttons and out of place looking blue or red bar at the bottom for the song title and radio info. I first started making a set of blueish AV buttons to match CHMs mod but then I switched to IDTs mod and they didn't look right at all. So, then it hit me.

Thanks euro!! You rock! I spent HOURS looking for those little buggers. Much appreciated!

    AV title bar

Hey guys, I've searched this topic to death and still can't find an answer. Could someone please tell me how to edit the color of the little bar at the bottom/right of the map that contains the song name/radio frequency info? Is it a .BMP in the image.res or the data.zip or simply controlled by the color.ini in the scheme? If it's controlled my the color.ini file, which line? I've changed my schemes, ExamDiff'ed my data.zip and image.res with matt's red ones looking for his "orangey" one, etc, but to no avail. I've seen it done but can't figure this one out. Any help would be apprecia
  14. I love this mod! Thanks, IDT!! I just thought I'd share a couple of my additions with you guys in case anyone was interested. First, I changed the font on the Blank Screen clock display. I thought it looked a little out of proportion in regular ds-digi so I got a copy of ds-digi bold and pasted to my igo folder, then simply added a "b" to the font name in the navigatemap_800_480.ui: Change: Time on blank screen To: Time on blank screen This looks way more in proportion to me. Next, I was kind of missing a history icon on the map screen so I made the clock into a
  15. Hey IDT, I just finished modding some of your v4.0 Data.zip last night and am loving it. Thanks for the great mods! Could you tell me which files have been edited in v4.1 so I can paste into my Data.zip and not have to re-edit everything? Thanks again
