Wow, the community here is so warm and welcoming to new people. I'm so glad that I joined.

this has been discussed so many time before, bypassed or not the message will still be there, please start reading the hacks thread before posting questions I did read, and search and found nothing that seemed relevant. I tried searching "warning" and "remove warning".

Does anyone know how to remove the GPS warning whenever you go into the map? I've only had the unit for a couple weeks and it's already VERY annoying. I don't have mine bypassed, and I don't plan on it right now, but I would like this warning to go away.

The Metra kit worked like a charm. It's perfect now, except something is wrong with the iPod connecter so on Wednesday it's trip #3 to to the installer.

I transfered the phone numbers from iPhone to the 700BT, however when people call me it just shows the numbers instead of the name because it's in the 700BT as (123) 4567890 instead of 1234567890. Anyone know of a setting or something that can be changed so it will recognize the name?

Now the "iPod" button under the AV menu is the iTunes icon like you'd find on a computer. I ordered the Metra kit. Once it comes in, I'm going to take it to the installer and we'll go from there. I'll suggest your idea about the piece of steel. I'll keep you posted. Would photos of how it looks now or anything help?

I updated the theme to include the actual Maps, Contacts, iPod buttons for the main menu screen. It will probably be a few days before I can install it on my 700BT, but I am attach them to the forum if anyone else wants them and can install it sooner. Also, imBasketCase, it sounds like you're going to be updating the blue theme, is that correct? Would you like the buttons I made to include in your update?

I have an 07 Focus and I just got the 700BT installed today. The installer couldn't get the unit flush with the Scosche kit. He tried for a good while before I had to leave. He said that there was a chance getting another brand's kit would make it go flush (he recommended a brand I can't remember right now) but said I'd have to order it. Has anyone else had an experience with this? Or suggestions?
