you're right. I had the DATA.ZIP on the SD card, insterted it, and like nothing. Didn't even acknowledge it's presence...how rude

ok maybe that'll work for the the iphone, but it doesn't really help if the things shuts off all the time. and when i hit the nav button it just stays on the warning screen.

My radio works, my cd/dvd drive works, my iphone comes up on the screen as if it's playing music but no music comes through the speakers. The whole time the "system startup" message is at the bottom of the screen and after a few minutes it reboots again. I'm trying the "resettooem.zip" to see if that works and i've tried other methods as well with no luck. Anyone please help. Thanx.

thanks...i tried it out but it doesn't work. all it does is start up but when i press the MAP button it stays on the warning screen...(the one that says pay attention to the road)...i dont know what to do anymore

Im ashamed to say that i didn't! urgh. Then i also deleted all the stuff in my "flash drive" folder. and i think i truly screwed up there. It turns on and says "system start in progress" for a few minutes then just reboots. someone please help

I tried to install the apple theme mod in my avic earlier today. And that didn't work and so whatever i gave up. But now i went for a drive, plugged in my iphone and it comes up on the screen and stuff, but doesn't provide any sound out of the speakers. So did i mess this thing up or what? And what do i do now to restore it to normal?

I was having problems downloading testmode off my sd card onto my avic. Now i've popped it in, it says it's copying, then the green box shows up and i close it but i'm not sure if i'm done now. I want to download the APPLE ICONS but i want to make sure my unit is safe before trying anything. I read that i need to back up my unit first in case but i haven't done this and not really sure how to. Thanks for the help.

I'm trying to do the exact same thing and I'm also not sure what to do after the bar finishes loading up. I clicked the X in the top/right hand corner, and nothing.
