Well I tried resetting everything, thats what the folks at crutchfield also suggested. However, I didnt unplug it. I'll try that as well. I'll also mess with the antenna. But, just resetting it didnt help. It's the avic-d3 btw. And thanks for the help.

It worked when I first installed it, but the last time I tried setting a route, it basically said I was about a mile+ off the road I was on. And its just gotten worse, I was on I-95 and it put me in the ocean. lol Now its towns over. It's like it keeps getting further away from where I actually am. Whats the deal??

Quick question for those of you running XM/Sirius along with the GPS antenna. Can they be mounted next to each other? If not, whats the distance they should be apart? Because I have pretty limited locations on my car. 2000 Trans Am with T-Tops.

They left out one of the most important features of the D3 in that review. It's customization options to match your car. They dont mention it once in that entire review.

But the new 80gb (5.5 gen) has a brighter screen along with better search options to find your files. Scrolling shows a letter overlay of the section your in, and an actual search function that auto-fills possibilities. Not to mention... it has 80 gigs of storage.

On the D3? Then I stand corrected. Is it squishing or cutting off the sides at all?

I think 500x240 is incorrect, its too wide. The dimensions given earlier are a bit more square.

Looks like "items are being prepared for shipping" w00t! Finally, they came through for us. I really didnt want to have to cancel with them, because theyre support is supposed to be great. Good stuff. Glad to hear I'm not the only one too. Looks like we're finally gonna get our D3's!

Ok... now I got a notice saying my order was shipped. And the D3 is listed with the Sirius unit, however, it still says the d3 is on backorder. And the package shipped only weighs 2.5lbs. I shot them a call, and now they're telling me that it may not have shipped or be in. Im giving them til tomorrow to clear things up. If not, I'm canceling my order. I know CF is supposed to be pretty good, and they all seem nice in Cust. Service. But, I've been having a pretty shitty experience with this headunit. There's a really good chance I'm gonna have to cancel and get it local. I'm getting a bit

Well.. allow me to retract my previous statement. I just spoke to CF, and my unit still shows as backordered online, but apparently its "being manifested" so its packed and ready to go, just hasnt been assigned a shipping # yet... hence no email. But I should get one 2nite. God I hope this is true. lol I'll keep you all posted, and I made an error before. I ordered mine on the 2nd, not the 1st.

I ordered on the fucking 1st and apparently didnt make the cut. Which to be honest, pisses me off. If it doesnt ship by monday I'm canceling the D3 and picking one up from the place that I had a pre-order at a week ago. Damn them all!

And here I was under the impression that pioneer made this a user friendly function for the d3? Guess not. I have all the tools to do that, but seems like a long drawn out process for something that should be so simple.

I placed my order last Thursday, early/mid day. And they had only sold out the night before. So if there is a new shipment, I should be near the top of the list. And I've been told something similar.

Well as long as its a good unit, and there isnt a cam for half the price that does the same job. I dont mind spending the few extra bucks for quality. It'll be worth it. Thanks guys. Hopefully they ship out the D3's today!
