I have an F700BT that I'm upgrading to the Z130BT when it gets here tomorrow. My main reasoning was so I could get the new model with the 4volt pre-outs, and A2DP streaming, but also I got a great deal. This Equalizer thing is another benefit I hope. The reason it is like that on the F900 (and the F700, F90, etc) is that it's only a 3-band EQ, but it has adjustable "Q", which basically changes where each of the 3 bands equalizes and how wide and eqalization it allows (probably just changes how many decibels per octave). My F700BT is hacked a bit, but it has a speed readout and it has saved me a few times. My speedometer is off since I'm using 235/45R17 tires instead of 225/45R17 tires. Doesn't sound like much, but it accounts for about 4mph at 70, and if you're trying to squeeze 5mph over the limit you end up about 9 over the limit and that will get you a ticket. Lots of upgraded hacks were available for the F700BT...I guess I have to find something for the Z130...if it's available...

Well then I guess it goes without saying that me upgrading from the F700BT will require a full rewire of the plugs...and I guess I can't get started on that until it gets here. Sounds like I'm going to have some fun!
