  1. I did... and I'm still crossing my fingers. I really think it worked. It doesn't seem to disconnect from the phone now like it used to. I had it drop 1 call, but I think it was because I was in a bad service area. I've had about 4-5 callls on it (the longest was 15 minutes) and worked like it should. We'll see what happens. Maybe they got enough complaints to finally do something about it. yeeha
  2. I hated this too, so I fixed it. It's not the Z1's fault like was also mentioned. It's just from your car's starter pulling the voltage down just enough to make the Z1 think it should shut off. So, I wired in a 1/2 farad capacitor to the +12v constant to the Z1 (with diodes to keep the cap from trying to help start the car). I also wired in a circuit to keep the radio on for about 8 seconds after I shut the car off. I think used another relay that the ACC wire goes through and uses power from the capacitor for the turn on lead so the voltage doesn't drop on that lead as well.
  3. I ordered mine right before Christmas and received it on the 26th of December. I bought it from powersellernyc.com for $1635 but their price now says $1745....? They said that they are one of the few people that drop ship from Pioneer (not sure if that is where it came from judging by the return address on the box, but it was from California). I called tons of other places and were all out of stock. Anyway, the salesman was pretty cool and easy to work with (I think his name was Stanley and his phone extension was 107). I paid the extra money for 3 day air, because they said it would
